Savannas Preserve State Park is one of the five state parks in Martin County and encompasses more than 6,000 acres stretching more than 10 miles from Ft. Pierce to Jensen Beach. This park contains the largest, most ecologically intact stretch of freshwater marsh in southeast Florida! Martin County contains the two southern end trail heads in Savannas- the South End Look Out Trail off of Jensen Beach Blvd. and Hawks Bluff Trail on NE Savannah Rd.
The trailhead on Jensen Beach Boulevard is now connected with trails north of Walton Road via the White trail, allowing visitors to traverse from Jensen Beach to Fort Pierce! Call for trail conditions as trails may be submerged during parts of the year.
Please follow Leave No Trace and keep our natural areas in Martin County healthy, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
