A True Tail: Life With Coyotes Nature Walk

Are you a wildlife enthusiast? Or just looking to get out to experience some natural Florida beauty and learn something new? Well, this hike is perfect for you. Join us on this nature walk while we learn about one of our most mysterious animals- the coyote. This educational walk will be led by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)biologist who will discuss their biology, behavior, and their role in out Florida ecosystems. We also explore topics such as how to coexist with these highly adaptable animals and address how to identify, prevent, and resolve potential human-wildlife conflicts.

DETAILS

  • FREE program, but reservations are required
  • This program will begin at 9:00am and last until approximately 11:00am
  • The walk will be about 1-1.5 miles across various natural surfaces
  • Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
  • Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
  • All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
